Today Jo and I took the opportunity to explore a historical site that is a little off the beaten path--the Illinois Military History Museum in Springfield, IL. Located just north of the Illinois National Guard's Camp Lincoln, it is a well-designed series of exhibits located inside a historic landmark.
In the next sections, I will present the exhibits--indoors and outside--in sections relating to the conflicts reflected by the various exhibits. Enjoy the images!
