May 20, 2021. Today we made an excursion into Phoenix, AZ, to visit the "Hall of Flame" Museum. This 35,000 square foot facility is the largest firefighting museum in the world and includes equipment from countries across the globe and across centuries.

The museum has a number of galleries, with exhibits ranging from 1725 to the present.
Gallery 1 has the oldest of the museum's exhibits. I was amazed at the condition of the equipment--it is obvious that the curators take pristine care of these historical gems!
Galleries 2, 3, & 4 have the history of motorized fire equipment from the 1920's through today.
